Journey & Soujirou
As with the time he trained with Shishio, very little of this part of Soujiro’s life is seen.
In the epilogue of the Kyoto Arc, Soujirou is one of the two remaining Juppongatana members who remains free.
He is glimpsed in the mountains, eating and talking with an old lady. There he tells her that he is headed for a life of a wanderer, seeking his own truth, his own answers.
Two men who once walked the same path took that much time to arrive at their own, individual truths. It should take me at least that long. [Soujirou, ch148]
